For the first time in over ten years 91.3 KUWS, located on the campus of the University of Wisconsin– Superior, is hosting a live on-air auction.
All proceeds will benefit KUWS with funds for more student workers, updating office equipment, and helping the station transition its music library to digital from vinyl.
The Auction will take place on Thursday, May 2nd starting at 7 PM and will run until 10 PM. There will be over thirty fantastic items up for bid, all donations from businesses both local and throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan.
To place a bid, potential buyers can tune into 91.3 FM, or go onto www.kuws.fm to listen to the live stream and call in to (715) 394‑8530 or (800) 300‑8530.

UW-Superior senior Emily Didlo is organizing the event, titled #WeAreCollegeRadio, to fill her capstone credit as a requirement for graduation from the Communicating Arts Department at UWS.
Emily has worked at KUWS for two years, and is currently the Operations Manager for the station. “The planning process has provided the students at KUWS with a lot of experience in event planning, coordination and public relations” said Emily “I’m thankful for the help that local businesses have given us to enrich our student programming.”
