March crime report


March 1 – 31, 2013

Mar 5:
-The possible theft of prescription medication was reported by a Curran/McNeill Hall resident and the
case remains under investigation.
-A fire alarm was pulled in Ostrander Hall and several students failed to evacuate. This report was referred
to Residence Life for follow up.

Mar 7:
-Custodial Staff reported unique vandalism/graffiti in the 3rd floor restroom in Crownhart Hall.
-Student reported vandalism to his parked vehicle in lot #2 while he was in class.

Mar 14:
-Sarah L. Petznick was cited for second offense Underage Drinking and Gianna M. Zappa was cited for first
offense Underage Drinking in Curran/McNeill Halls. Petznick is subject to a possible fine amount of $389.50 while Zappa faces a possible fine amount of $263.50.

Mar 27:
-Two reports of alleged 3rd degree sexual assault on campus were reported to the Superior Police
Department. The cases, which reportedly occurred earlier in the month, remain under investigation.
-A Staff Member reported the apparent theft of a flag art print from the Circle of Native Nations room in
Swenson Hall sometime between 03/26 and 03/27/13.

Mar. 28:
-Campus Safety investigated a report of a possible missing student who was later determined to be
missing voluntarily.
-A student reported that his vehicle that was parked in Lot #11 between 4:00pm and 9:00pm was hit on its
front bumper by a hit & run driver.
